    Discovery Channel has a really educational app on their website that allows visitors to design their own volcano and emulate it. The link can be found here.

    The application allows visitors to adjust the properties of the volcano. With the given strength, the application will generate a volcano to mimic its eruption, thereby visually introducing the various terminology related to the eruption.

    Flickr Now Supports 60s Video

    Yesterday Flickr announced that they now support video for Pro members. The video footage is only limited to 60 seconds.

    Perhaps it’s a bit late for Yahoo Flickr to strive for a video blogging entry since Google Youtube has already been the lead. Much more, Flickr imposed a 60s limits and only restricted to Pro members. Perhaps Flickr is aiming for high quality and accredited video from non-amateurs.

    I guess sharing photos can be pretty interesting. People from everywhere in the world are using Twitpic through Twitter to remotely share their pictures.

    The service allows pictures to be uploaded through mobile phones and with their API which allows easy posting and sharing of pictures.

    There’re moments that may seem difficult to come by again at the right time, such as this one.

    I came across this really interesting web service today called TimeMachiner. It’s supposedly a web service that let you email yourself, friends and family in time. It could be used to remind yourself on urgent appointments, shoot a future birthday notes to friends and family but the possibilities are endless.
