VLC will soon allow the current iPhone & iPod Touch play other media formats that was not playable before.

vlc4iphone will allow iPhone and iPod Touch to play the following formats:

• MPEG/MPG, AVI, MP3
• FLAC, OGG, FLAC, 3GP, H.264
• VCD, DivX, WMA, WMV

Last week Wednesday in some post, I came across a AT&T hotspot that offers FREE Wi-Fi access to iPhone users. Yes! Free! that means the users are able to watch youtube, download, sms and browse the web at MUCH faster bandwidth than 3G.

According to MacRumors, AT&T disabled the Free iPhone Wi-Fi temporarily. Today, many users are reporting that the free iPhone access has been removed and users are unable to log-in with just their phone number. Regardless, we still expect the service to be officially announced in the future.

Apple and AT&T will cut $200 off the price of the iPhone 3G when it arrives this summer. The regular phones should hit at $399 and $499 for 8 and 16-gigabyte versions and the subsidy should drop the price to as low as $199. (more…)
